Tooling
Vaupell Holdings, Inc. has maintained toolshops in four of our six locations around the world. These tool shops are important to support our existing customers and external OEM customers in the defense, aerospace, and medical marketplaces.
Vaupell has on-shore and offshore injection mold building capabilities. Our U.S. center of excellence for injection molds is located in Constantine, MI. This facility supports prodution toolbuilding for all of our production molding facilities. Rapid tooling or tools used specifically for quick-turn and short-run parts are supported out of our Hudson, NH facility. For customers interested in lowering their overall cost of ownership for the injection mold, we have a toolroom located in Shenzhen, China.
Vaupell maintains a toolshop in our Agawam, MA facility that is focused on high precision machining. It does provide the ability to repair and maintain production injection molds, but is primary focused on design, development, and manufacture of custom fixtures and gages that can be used in the assembly, inspection, or test functions of our customers.
